How to install Windows Vista in a system with 256 MB RAM?
Windows Vista requires at least 512 MB of RAM to be installed in a computer. But for those who did not have that much memory installed in your system cannot be able to install Vista.
If you have at least 256 MB of RAM installed in your system then you can follow my instructions in order to run vista in your computer. First you must have a Windows Vista installation DVD in your hand. Insert that DVD into the DVD drive. Click on the Setup icon to start the installation process. Click “Install now“. But as you have just 256 MB RAM in your system you will got the message that your system did not have enough memory to install Vista.
If you want to install Vista in your 256 MB system then you have to patch the Windows.dill which resides in “Source” folder of your Vista installation DVD.
We are going to patch Windows.dill so that you can install Vista in your computer.

First, you have to download this patch. Copy the contents of Vista DVD to a hard-drive. Now copy nomen.exe to the source folder and run the patch. You have successfully patched Windows.dill.
Now you can create an iso image of the Windows Vista DVD. For this you can use a tool called Vlite. You can remove some “unwanted” features of vista to make it suit your low end system. After that burn the iso image to a DVD. The final step is to boot from the disc. Now the memory test will be bypassed and Vista will install as usual. But the installation time may be a bit higher because of low end configuration of your system.
This patch dosen’t works wasted a lot of time on this crap. Do not go for this pile of garbage. This patch maker sucks.
Its a trojan checked by avg 8.5
It is detected by some antivirus programs as Trojan, but works fine.
